Families in the Loop is ramping up spring fever by throwing a party like no other. We’ll sip kickin’ mock cocktails, groove to our favorite tunes, mix and mingle with other parents, and treat our tots to cool crafts and tummy-lovin’ brunchies.

By Far, our favorite weekend activity is cooking together. Our girls love to get their hands dirty! This weekend, we made sushi and tofu chocolate mousse.
We have come to love going on new little adventures to bring a little life into our weekend. A trip to Ikea, a train ride down to Open Books bookstore, or even just going for a walk through a neighborhood. Without these ventures, the weekends slip away too easily 🙂
Our favorite is going to the Brookfield Zoo! Even in cold weather, we find so many great activities and, since we’re members and pack a picnic lunch, it’s free!

Since our little one just turned 3that months last week, I would have to say that we love snuggling on the couch right before we put him to sleep.

Our 1-year-old daughter loves music–particularly jazz and dance music. We love bopping to jazz or starting an impromptu dance party with her on a weekend morning!
